This 18 year old male presented with a very difficult malocclusion. His lower jaw grew more than his upper jaw and he had more dental crowding on the bottom than on the top. He wore braces for about a year and a half and required the extraction of two teeth on the bottom. His bite was corrected and his teeth were aligned with the space created by the extractions. This is a good example of orthodontics helping a patient improve both the health and beauty of his smile.
