Before

This 11 year old female presented with a "reverse overjet," an unhealthy bite where the lower teeth are positioned in front of the upper teeth and hyperextend the lower jaw forward. She wore braces for approximately two years to correct the bite and bring the upper teeth in front of the lower teeth. Because her orthodontic problem was primarily dental, her treatment did not require jaw surgery or the extraction of permanent teeth. Now a beautiful young woman, she has an equally beautiful smile.
