This 13 year old male presented with a very difficult problem due to lack of growth in his lower jaw. This resulted in an increased overbite and an increased overjet. Braces were used to align the teeth and elastics (rubber bands) were used to bring the lower jaw forward. Orthodontic treatment acheived a healthy bite and improved facial balance. No permanent teeth were extracted.
