This 13 year old male presented for orthodontic treatment with an increased overbite, malaligned teeth and protrusive upper incisors. He wore braces for about 2 years to retract his upper incisors, increase the width of his dental arches and reduce his overbite. Overall, orthodontic treatment created a proportional balance between the width of the arches and the width of his face and established a healthy bite.
